nice one ;-)
I didn't really have a target this year, the AAA's I suppose once I'd
decided to go for La Marmotte. There's only one target next year; but a
Brevet 5000 would be nice if unlikely. I'm not doing many 100's.

Brevet 5000 or /Randonneur/ 5000?

46 points officially, with six more to be added. Though if I'd finished
every ride I entered, I'd have another 20...

I wonder if it's enough to win the Dark-Siders Cup?

Three blind mice, see how they run. Is this /really/ the best
way to test shampoo?

Randoneur probably, the one for 50 points anyway. 15.25 AAA points in
total if I complete Thursdays Perm

Also completed my first RRTY this month too.

Yes, of course the big target in August. Don't think I'll set any more
so that I am not distracted from the main event. After LEL last year I
was pretty kncackered and didn't feel like doing anything for a month.
I started earlier this year than last, had 10 points by the end of Feb
whereas in 2005 I had only 2 so next year might be similar to this.
Going to get some Fixed Wheel Challenge points next year too. but
nothjing to challenge Phixed Fill.

No DNFS for me, ever - DIY perms don't count because the entry doesn't
expire and no date was actually nominated !!!. Though I have only been
doing this for 2 years

Yep. DNF on the Denmead Winter, DNS Chiltern/Cotswold, Stevenage & ECCA
200s. DNS on the Norwich Double Century (forgot to switch on alarm clock) &
Ruislip 300 (fell asleep again while having breakfast!). DNF on the South
Then North.

I am a Bad Man, and resolve not to do this next season.

Mr. Charles Kennedy (Krankieburgh): Would the Prime Minister
care to comment on a report in today's Guardian that he: "arrived
late for a meeting with Jacques Chirac, smelling of alcohol, and
with body language suggesting a total disregard for the rights
of ethnic minorities, lone parents and laboratory animals"?

I've taken it on Hull-Zeebrugge[1]; does that count ;-)

1 - because at the time, Hull was the nearest port to London Town Devine
from which a ferry could be taken to Belgium (which, of course, does not
exist).

Nope, north of Watford the Channel becomes the North Sea and talks with
a funny accent ;-)

but it might have to cross the channel at some point?

My first continental tour, a modest 4 day affair from Schiphol to
Zeebrugge; was extended to Oostende on the last day much to my
brother's chagrin due to there being no ferry to anywhere south of
Hull; we were compensated with a sizzling 70 minutes crossing to
Ramsgate on the Holyman (was Sally Line) catamaran however (which is
decidedly defunct now, of course the tunnel never caught on did it? )
