  1. Defect is really good all around; good filming, editing, music and
riding. I ordered my copy through syko, and the service was also
really good. My favorite sections were kevin mcmullin/shaun j/keaton
miller/nic caffroy, and sain arditty/brian lundgren.

  2. Ha, I showed the segment featuring Kaori Matsuzawa to one of my female
friends, and once it ended she immediately decided to buy the unicycle
    I've been trying to sell.

Major props go out to everyone involved in the production of this. I
want to go out and show it to everyone I know who's even slightly
    interested in unicycling.

watched it. Is Dan just really good at finding bums and filming them, or
what? Sac John is my freaking hero!

Mike clark took some hard falls, it looks like. Pain.

I'll watch it again tomorrow. and again. and again.

Oh yeah, I'm happy that it had Jagur in it. that made my day.

Which person is Jagur? I don't know his real life identity, haha.

  5. Just got off the plane and home with my copy of Defect, it's late and
I'm tired and I was only going to watch a minute or two. I ended up
watching it all plus all the extras, of course. 🙂

My favourite two lines were Kris' pointy rail ride thing and Ryan's
    seat back 90 degree thing....brilliant!

It was all amazing though, thanks Dan.

  9. I just watched Defect last night, It was by far the best film dan has
put out and most perfessional. My parents watched the movie with me,
they loved "Sactown John". They also thought that the variety of riding
was excellent and was not just all trials, or all muni. The other great
part about this film from Dan's other films is that it is not constant
riding, he spent the time and did some very good interviews in the
feature film and for the commentary. And BRAVO to Jess Reigel for the
animation. I would suggest this film to anyone if they want to see top
notch riding and over all great cinematography. Nice job dan and nice
job to everyone who was in the film.

  13. How did i know that that was jagur? Seriously, i've never seen a photo
of the guy, i'd heard rumour that he was in it somewhere, saw that shot
and thought, that must be him. Ok with the exception of Kris he's the
only one over 30 i suppose.

  18. I think that's supposed to be your brain and nervous system. But it is
an incredible movie. It actually has scenes and -creative shots-,
unlike most hollywood movies I've seen lately.

  19. Congratulations Dan, on yet another fantastic movie. The people who came
to the NZ Uni Weekend were certainly impressed, twice over. I think
we've watched it around 30 times in 3 days, it always starts as "Hey,
let's just watch Dan's section again"...and then leads into a full
    feature. 😄

Did anyone else find "Sac John" a total pain in the ass after about the
    4th or 5th time?

It's awesome to see all these amazingly talented people, and it's
uber-inspiring to see what people like Dan, Shaun J, Sabin, Brian,
Kaori, Kevin and Xavier are doing for the sport.

Keep up the good work guys.

Because its an amazing cool logo. I wore my shirt to school today and
three people said they wished they had the t-shirt even though they
don't unicycle because its just really cool looking.

Yeah "Sac John" can get pretty annoying, but he's an interesting guy.

Anyone else want to build one of those, uhhhhhh, huge double wheeled
things after they it at the end of the movie? You know the big cycle
that flips the person over in the credits right before the monocycle.
That was the coolest thing ever. Where did that come from, who made
it, and what is it called?
