He's gonna get himself a UFOLEP license next year and screw the UCI. They were always a bunch of [censored] anyway.
I suppose times do change, but in Davey's day, the starter might have dropped the flag, but not a rider in the bunch would have moved off the start line until Rebellin was lined up and ready to go.
Why not post under a real name Senor Crock?
why do you care ?
Because I am ultra sophisticated and worldly and independent. Because when someone signs their name to something they write it means a hell of a lot more? Like you do. You're the perfect RBR citizen. Not a fake like 95% of these anonymous cowards.
As you know though, that's my thing, often bashing the anonymous to get real. It's good advice and more than one have come out from behind the childish veil.
Just sayin'...

in the toronto area there's a number of old brits who raced back in the day. the fact that he still rides narrows it down.

Don't forget, a hypocrite, if you don't start nagging at Sierraman and Top Sirloin to sign all their posts.

I know their real names, but they never use them. Include Sonnarat in that list, also.

I would use my name, but the confusion of having two posters named Jeff Jones isn't worth being able to say with pride that I don't hide behind a pseudonym. This was a problem for me on rec.music.classical too, by the way.

Well then could you at least humor us with an explanation for your pseudonym? I'm just askin'.

The explanation is that there isn't one. I came up with it ~5 years ago, don't remember the inspiration, but OL I have always been known by it and I haven't been able to shake it.

Sonnarat is Dark Lord of the Nether World. He guards the gates to death and keeps the living from trespass. His fire is light to souls lost, but certain doom to the living. He is peace to the dead and therefore un-peace to the living.

The website is more than 4 years old (and long since abandoned as I outgrew such things), and not terribly interesting.. and the dragons.. I came up with my name first 🙂 though I still don't remember how
