Jeremy Parker said:For the 12 year old, I guess that Cyclecraft itself is it. I don't
think there is anything reasonable for kids. A few years ago the
British gov't issued some comic book, written, I think, by the Walt
Disney organization. It was truly terrible, and it would be kindest
to let them forget they ever published it.
You won't believe this then....
What comes around, comes around.

Disney partners new Think! cycle smart website.
The THINK! campaign has launched a new website, in conjunction with
Disney, to support the popular cycle smart magazine.
www.cyclesmart.org features the Disney Recess Gang characters and shows
7-10 year olds how to keep safe while out and about on their bikes. The
original comic strip and posters have been brought to life in this
colourful interactive site, which features:
• The new adventures of the Recess Gang including TJ, the leader,
Mikey, the poet, Vince, the athlete, Gretchen, the brain, Spinelli, the
enforcer and Gus, the guy who's all heart.
• Interactive pages about cycle safety gear and bike maintenance.
• A game in which players are challenged to choose the safest options
for the cycle journey.
• A chance to win prizes including a brand new bike.
Online advertising will be used to drive traffic to the site. The first
burst, in April, will support the launch and the second burst - over the
Christmas and New Year period - will target children who have received a
bike for Christmas. Collectable postcards are also being distributed in
schools at the start of each term.
