I mean '[censored]' seems appropriate here, but I'm afraid that some might still associate the term with homosexuality, and I wouldn't want to imply that a gay man would stoop to such a level of effeminate behavior as to be discussing this subject with such vigor.
And Lafferty...... quoting Judy Garland ?!?!...I can't think of anything more appropriate.
My god...this thread surely must signal the death of RBR.

Heard that this morning on French radio. They mentioned this happened during a TV show, sound odd...
I saw a report in a newspaper last week telling about a big fight they had. Apparently he had a whole lot of mates over to her house and asked her to get a case of coca-cola for them. 2 days later she gave him a bill for $100 to pay for the coke. He wasn't too impressed but she wasn't willing to pay for his mates. He ended up throwing a scrunched up $100 bill at her.
This was in the newspaper so it must be true.
I'll bet his ex would have jumped and gotten the Coke, asap. Sheryl isn't Mommy or his ex.

The book he did with Kent Gordis was quite good. His sections on training are not much different than what you find in more complex form in Friel and CC's tomes.

Yenta applies to both men and women; it just means 'a gossip' or a busybody. Men can be gossips and busybodies- straight men too!

No. Kik is too self absorbed. She wanted to be the center of attention so she went out and got attention from a man other than Lance. This was caught on video tape on the home security system. Lance saw it, confronted Kik and tried to forgive her. But she continued to cheat so Lance filed for divorce.
Very FEW people know that story. And even fewer speak of it. You must be......

Ah this is all making sense now, wonder why no one mentioned this before ?!

And from what I've read, she comes from a fairly tight, functional family. Mr. Lance's character isn't changing fast enough, if at all to hold her for the long haul, IMO.

I love it how people think they have a grip on someone's personal life by reading stuff on the Internet.

I heard something on NPR (on Marketplace) about the "New Gilligan's Island" show, where the contestants are supposed to be re-enacting some of the situations from the original show. But they still classify it as "reality TV". Go figure.
