dyke somewhere .............. so I need a replacement.
I have a Truflow Micro Max air+
Quoted message said:1 Needs to reach 'get you home' pressures.
Gets me to 70 psi, would go a bit higher but starting to get hard (to
push), my hybrid tyres want no more though.
Quoted message said:2 Needs to fit into rear pocket of jersey or similar.
8 inches long and light.
Quoted message said:3 No need to inflate bouncy castles, schrader valves, woods valves,
air beds, tractor tyres etc etc just PRESTA, and EFFECTIVELY.....
does both valves but you never know.......
Quoted message said:4 Not frame fitting.
think it came with a bracket to fit next to a bottle cage but you don't
have to use it although it may be more comfy than a pocket.
Quoted message said:5. Not willing to pay Assos prices (OK I know they dont do pumps, but
I dont want it monogrammed and gold plated, I just want the friggin
air out of it)

for ?9.99 without the pressure gauge.
As it is only for emergencies have you thought about those gas cylinder
things? They are small and probably as quick as anything you could carry
with minimum effort. Downside is that they have consumables with added
cost but then how many punctures do you get? Carry kit and sods law will
help save you from getting as many as no puncture kit/spare tube.
Punctures solved quickly and easily but at an added expense......
tempting target for sod, his law and his minion.... the puncture fairy

Personally hope you go for the gadget version, gas cylinders, and
experiment and tell us/me how they go. Can't resist gadgets personally
but looks like they could be useful.

mmmmmmmm, tasty.
of course it isn't itisnt)
Tracker...I was just sitting here reading your Post and it prompted me to get off my lazy [censored] and try my CO2 Gas Cylinder Tire inflator thingy...
I've had one Puncture, my Wife has also had one...we had no spare Tube or Pump...I called a Mate who happened to be at home on two occassions and he took us to a Bike Store...
Sooo, I went out and bought a Tube, Tire Levers and this little Gas inflator...
I've been carrying it around in my little saddle bag, along with a Tube and levers for months...and every time I go out I always wonder "I wonder if this thing will work"....
Anyway, I just tested it...I let all the air out of my front 700c Road Bike Tire...and in the interests of accuracy, I made sure it was COMPLETELY Flat...
I applied the Pump, pressed the red Button, and Voila!! The Tire inflated to ROCK HARD in around 3-4 seconds...it works perfectly...
It is around 4-5 inches long X around 2" wide at it's widest point..it does fit into a Very small saddle bag, leaving room for the tube and small levers...
Brand: Genuine Innovations, with "intelligent Head" which means it automatically fits schraded and Presta Valves...(I only tried it on a Presta)...
It's Red and white in colour....
I can't remember how much it cost...I bought the most expensive one in the shop....I THINK it was close to US$30.00....but WELL worth it....it really does work...and that's all that counts, right?
I guess to complete the experiment I should have checked the pressure with a Gauge, but I couldn't be arsed, sorry...
It can be easily carried in a Jeresy Pocket, but I carry me [censored], lighter, Car Keys and Cell phone in mine...so there's not much room left for an inflator...
By the way, I did buy some spare Cartridges (you owe me $3.00)...
