great personality. As he rode along at the front of the bunch yesterday
his visual descriptions of a crash were such that you didn't need to
hear his animated dialogue to work out that he was talking about
Rasmussen's ITT.
Before the days of helmets he always wore a bandana and looked more of a
pirate than Marco even.
A great entertainer, and a great attacker.

It's too bad he didn't get more air time before his crazy day of
attacks. I really enjoyed watching him, and especially listening to
Phil/Paul describe him...he looked like he was really enjoying himself
yesterday during the final laps...always a big grin on his face.
