I also agree with both comments on sponsorship in general, but not so
much for unicycling, for that exposure thing, because lets be honest
apart from videos which i tend to think most companies dont see unless
there really high profile, there is very little chance of exposure
apart from at one or 2 conventions ayear and then you really would have
to push and work to impress the company if on the off chance they were
actually there, becuase dont forget due to lack of companies, we are
limited to one company per country and thats in the main unicycling
countries. This is why you have to put yourself out there, i think the
only time it can harm to approach a company is when its a waste of time
because that would annoy a company, but if you are a good standard and
have some sort of case for requesting sponsorship, why shouldn't you
let them know.
I liked the way Kelly asked for sponsorship, it showed effort,
determination and skill, but maybe a bit to much pressure personally if
i had of been deciding my concience would have made me say yes just for
the passion that kelly had put into it, actually i've gone a bit off
track and not really sure what i'm saying any more so ill leave it
there lol
