I hope that all you cycling fans out there in the UK are well aware that when you buy what you may
think is a British made cycle such as Falcon,Townsend,Claude Butler,Dawes,British Eagle' you are
actually buying a Taiwanese,China or Vietnam bike assembled over here in a '[censored]' factory in
Brigg,North Lincolnshire.

Brigg,North Lincolnshire.More likely an asian (or possible east european) produced frame built to the specifications of the
cycle company and assembled with components from various other parts of the world. Just because
anything comes from the Far East does not make it Bad. Indeed some such cycle equipment is amongst
the very best produced.Yes of course it would be better if British industry could produce items at a competitive price, but
they cannot. Answering why not will lead to a very political argument 🙁Meanwhile, pray do tell what is so '[censored]' about where they are assembled?
Did you work there?
Have you just been sacked or something?

heads up. Except of course that we all knew anyway...Guy

Take a chill pill.
My bike was made in Sheffield. My car was made in Spain, my telly in Taiwan, my computer in
Ireland/China....and guess what? I just don't care. Because they all work. (unlike you, as it sounds
like you've just been sacked by Falcon.....)Regards,
Pete.
