More likely an asian (or possible east european) produced frame built to the specifications of the
cycle company and assembled with components from various other parts of the world. Just because
anything comes from the Far East does not make it Bad. Indeed some such cycle equipment is amongst
the very best produced.

Yes of course it would be better if British industry could produce items at a competitive price, but
they cannot. Answering why not will lead to a very political argument 🙁

Meanwhile, pray do tell what is so '[censored]' about where they are assembled?

Thank heavens for that. It means a bike that would have been out of my reach a few years ago is now
affordable.

Seems to me if we could rule the '[censored]' factory out, standards would be almost perfect.
