Damn.. you would've been a perfect leadout for me to crack the 90kph mark.. some other time. Which way should the wind be blowing to make that hill a tailwind?
hippy - ice hockey'd out and I've never even skated..
Southerly. meant the couple of other hills we sprint down were very slow tho...

was a cool ride (apart from me taking a wrong turn, apologies for holding you guys up) i ended up doing 96.5kms in total. i broke off at chandler hwy and rode yarra bend rd to visit my sister in fiztroy, then returned home via yarra bend rd and had a slow ride along the bike path to elgar rd..
top speed was a [censored] 71kph. the new 21 cassette wasnt _too_ bad on the hills🙂 i'll probably ride 1/20 and the wall this week so that should be a good test. one more BR weekend and then ATB🙂 there's about 35 of us from work going so it should be a good day

35 from work is pretty impressive.....I am going with a group of about 8 or so from work but there are other groups from work going as well so I don't know how many all up??
I just got the shiny pamphlet and ticket in the mail today.....now I just gotta try not to lose it between now and the ride. I notice that there are signs warning of upcoming "official phograph" points....might have to have a crack at the rudest photo award.

I managed 86km/h today after tucking in behind Chris on the first big downhill (I think Dutchy got 88 though).

I'm surprised that Tony didn't catch up to us when you consider that we doubled back to go in search of the missing (Not to be seen again until later) Dej who took a wrong turn at the roundabout near the Warrandyte CFA station.
