Bill's currently pulling his defending hte nation card and won't be back in port for two weeks but
he brought his bike with him and is riding it whenever he can. shoot each one of them an e-mail
and see what they think. However, my guess is that Kevin loves his Blur since, well, he's coming
off of the same stellar fully that you've grown in love with for all these years. Bill's initial
response was that the bike was great. I'm not sure how Kevin built his up but Bill dropped major
coin on his and built it with the new Fox fork up front (not the one iwth the inertial valve) and
full XTR so it wadn't cheap! Perhaps you need to put your salesman face on and organize a ride
where both of them show up so you can potentially try each on on different sections of trail. Of
course, that would mean that they'd have to ride your bike............
I¹ve seen Kevin¹s, a full XTR Blur, well over $4K spent. Bill Bacon got a Blur, more my size, and
I¹ll be riding that soon. He went about $2800 into the hole. I saw a post from BB in the great NW,
Bill riding along for the thrills. I¹m looking forward to checking out Porters Spyder. JD & Sorni
(Titus FrEaKs) suggest Titus, and the Racer X looks pretty tempting. I¹ll be Catapulting the
Catamount by year end, and by then, with all the reading , NG suggestions, and trial rides will prob
end up on a recumbant <;-)
