square taper CRANKSET AND BB and avoid this issue altogether.
Campy has just gone to an external bearing so the good stuff is
going to be closed outI can spend $30 for Truvativ versus spending $200 for a new system.
I'm kind of stuck. LBS said that FSA laughed at him when he
requested a RMA #.
Quoted message said:Just curious: why are you avoiding my suggestion of the American
Classic ISIS bb with replaceable bearings? Your lbs CAN get one (and
if they say they can't, they're liars), and it will cost you a bit
more, but in the long run, you will save time, money and hassle.
I'm not ignoring your suggestion. I already got the Trutativ installed
on the day of my original post. I can't go Square taper.
What is wrong with Truvativ? I haven't heard anything bad.
I wish that I still had the velocity deep V wheels with
American classic hubs. I'm thinking of buying a new pair
of those. I really liked the sound of those hubs in coast.
