I did plonk him and the only way I see his childish posts is when someone else replies to him. Since Mozilla and Thunderbird are open source and I am a decent programmer I may get the source code and build a better filter module that looks for his name inside the message, too. Bill Baka
Doesn't Thunderbird let you filter by regex on the message body as it is? Seems like a pretty stark missing feature.
It has an everything possible filter on e-mail but not on news, which strangely enough is in the same program. It strikes me as strange too. Bill Baka
Odd. I suppose this is a little like Kmail/Knode - the filtering in Kmail lets you do a few extra things (like pipe through an external program) that Knode doesn't. Both let you do regex matching on anything though.
