  1. [font=Comic Sans MS] Lance does not need good PR here in the USA.... He has plenty. And to Lance , that is all that matters. It is sad that certain cycling fans do not give the the greatest TDF rider of all time credit when credit is due. He is retired... It is time to move on. There will be a TDF next year and the focus should be on the once convicted doper and one time TDF winner Jan Ullrich and his reasons for not winning in 2006.
I cannot remember any single athlete in my lifetime giving as much of his time to a charity as Lance has during his career. Of course, Lance had extra motivation to be involved in the cancer charity because of his illness. The Livestrong wrist bands have been a tremendous success.
Lance knows how to capitalize on the media. He used the fact that he went to Europe and participated in an obscure sport {as far as US audiences go} and did something no European has ever done in 100 years......Win the TDF 7 times. The Lance fans had to endure the doping insults coming from a sport that thinks Merckx is the greatest thing when we know Eddy was a doper. Convicted 3 times no less.
And before anyone attacks any athlete for giving or not giving to the Katrina disaster they should ask how much did they personally give???

Be objective in your comments. Jan has never been convicted of doping. Your boy Lance has, six times.

  3. The reason that high profile people are publicized for dontaions is that others that identify with them will intern donate.
Manipulation? Maybe but it is for a good cause, lets move on.

  4. Don't want to crush youre dreams, but youre boy Jan works with Checcini........both checcini and ferrari are the topstudents of conconi......do the math!!!!!

But heej I've been saying all along you can be a fan of cycling and still acknowledge most riders dope.......I mean do we care.....I don't......I like the sick crazy speeds they ride up the mountains.....

I have not heard that either one of them has been convicted of doping.

Cechinni hasn't been convicted of sporting fraud. Basso relies on mr 60% 😄

  7. Yeaah....suprises me that Ferrari isn't there supervisor....since mr 60% worked with ferrari on the Gewiss team.......that's what made Ferrari famous!!!😄

But jan is fine.......but seriously I think he can't win a tour anymore........would be a shame cause he was one of the biggest talents ever!!!!

Same with VDB......you can say much about him, but talented he was!!!!!
