I find it very useful. In fact I set all my groups not to download messages which have already been
downloaded in other groups.

uk.aardvark, and less invasive than having posts deleted for having the wrong content. (Well, not
quite back, as I only got as far as testing Agent, which appears to be an exercise full of
disappointments). On the plus side, I've saved 18 quid.
I suggest you stick with it for a little longer. Forte Agent is a very powerful newsreader.
I had problems with an email message recently using Eudora.
The message was from a friend who went camping and walking on the Welsh borders. One night they had
a BBQ, and at the weekend the campsite was inundated with Duke of Edinburgh teenage girls.
I was rather alarmed that the message was marked with two red chilli symbols warning me that it
contained offensive language. I was rather shocked by this, but when I opened it I could not see
what Eudora objected to. I tried selectively deleting parts of the message to identify the offending
bit. It wasn't the reference to sharing a shower with 16 teenage girls or to Ian's sausage being
BBQed. It turned out to be the word Dyke, in *Offa's Dyke*.
I had to tell my friend to watch her languge in future.
