Jan, are you REALLY sure of what you stated with the last sentence??
Yes. I have stated it many times.
Quoted message said:Or did you just have a weak moment- alternative health in bed with
conventional medicine??
No weak moment. I think this would be the best of both worlds, we need both. I
am surprised you haven't read this in my posts before now.
By all accounts this is getting closer than you
Quoted message said:think with the legitimate alternative modalities.
Maybe, the sooner the better.
Quoted message said:On an interesting note today I saw a patient (teenage female) who came
in on an emergency visit; the mother was visibly shaken and told me
that her daughter had complained of a foreign body sensation in her
left eye. When the mom looked she saw 2 small "worms" in the temporal
canthus ( side of the eye nearest the ear) and plucked them off. The
mother noted my skeptical nature until she showed me the "specimens"
she had in a pill jar. Boy was I shocked- 2 small round larvae type
bodies(5mm in length) with a flaggela. I wish I had an entomologist
nearby - I had no idea what they were. But careful exam with the slit
lamp revealed no damage to the eye or any more of the critters. I
gave them reassurance but boy was that gross. I thought of Hulda.

And just as you thought we were pulling your leg? These things do happen.
Maybe you could call her and see if she would take them to a lab and see what
they were? I was trashed here over and over for saying that I *did* see
parasites in my stool It takes a while to distinguish them from undigested
food, but it can be done. Now, maybe you won't be so doubtful? Like I always
say, experience is the best teacher. Thank you for this honest post.
