Advice sought for PDA mount

Aquapac (or similar) for venturing out in inclement weather. It would be

I have been looking for something similar for both cycling and walking.

For the walking part I did find something on a US site that would do the
trick and was about £40.00 but was not suitable for bike mount.

Another site had a bike mount for my PDA but not waterproof - so no good.

I too have looked at the aqua packs but they do not look as good and I'm not
sure about the usabillity of the PDA.

I suspect that wouldn't enough vibration absorbtion for forest trails and
moorland bridleways. Also, having had Velcro(tm) let go on me, I wouldn't
want to trust something worth more than my bike to it. But thanks for the

At the moment, about the best I've seen is a Ram mount for motorbike
handlebars, but even that looks like it could be improved.

I'd be worried about whether the PDA can stand the vibration.
I doubt anyone engineered them with that in mind, whereas dedicated GPS
units might have been.
