Hi All
I have a little trip planned to the bike shop where I recently bought my new
bike as, today whilst trying to remove the pedals they fitted, I sustained 2
hernias 9ok well nearly ) and also a very chipped chain stay as a result of
the pedal spanner flying out of my hand and hitting it - that tells you how
much leverage I was having to give it. It took me 30 minutes to get them
off.
Those pedals were on WAY too tight and not a smidge of lube anywhere when I
finally managed to get them off. I am gutted as my bike is a Bianchi in
Celeste and now has 3 or 4 sizeable chunks of paint missing which are
noticeable.
So I need some advice please - is there anywhere I can get the equivalent of
touch up paint in the right colour to at least play damage limitation?
Alternatively is it possible to get the paint job done properly?
I know this probably sounds like an over-reaction but I am furious that it
has happened due to the actions of a 'can't be arsed' mechanic who thought
he was being clever and, as a result, my bike has been damaged.
I am going to take it and show him tomorrow but, in the interim, any advice
as to how I can sort the paint would be very welcome indeed.
Cheers
Paul
