Nice pictures, good to see green, things are not good in So-Cal mountains.
Very dry and the bark beetle has our forests looking raged.

Thanks. It's been really dry here until the last month or so, and as
Monique has pointed out, it's been raining on weekends more than would
seem probable. It's a real bummer about the beetles there.

I lived in Boulder for Summer '92 and we rode White Ranch all the time.
Great place!

Are these the four waterbars on Maverick right after a teeny-tiny water
crossing? I remember them well. I was at a clinic with an instructor
and two other newbie riders. It took me something like four or five
tries, but I finally cleared them all in one go. Then I rode up to
Tonya's bike and saw a snake sunning itself right next to it. Tonya was
not pleased! The snake, miffed that we didn't make it welcome,
slithered off into the grass.

I need to go back to that place. I think I've been mildly scared of it
ever since The Fall (which happened right before the four waterbars).
