Thomas, you strike me as a militant agnostic: "I don't know and you
don't ethier!" Just chill, having a born-again Christian President
sucks, but hopefully he'll be out soon.
I am an oppurtunistic agnostic. If there's an afterlife, I don't really
feel like being screwed because I was arrogant enough to think that
there wasn't. But, since there's also a good chance that this is all I
get, I make no attempt to limit my life by following all biblical laws
and losing 2 hours of every Sunday of my life. Not to mention that
technically I'm a dysfunctional Jew, so I make no attempt to waste every
Saturday of my life. I heard a story from my Orthodox great uncle: It
was the Sabbath, and his wife's orthodox sewing group was just relaxing
and talking about stuff. Thern, one of the women's baby accidentally hit
the radio and turned it on full blare. Since they were all orthodox
Jews, they couldn't even talk about technology. So they had to act like
the radio wasn't there, and couldn't turn it off. Finally, a non-Jew
neighbor complained aboujt the racket and turned it off. They thanked
him graciously the next day, explaining the predicament.
I never want to be landed in a predicament like the one above, so I
choose to honor the religous laws that I deem to be moral. I don't care
what I eat with my milk and chicken 😉. It just doesn't matter.
Later all.

Don't you think it's a cruel irony that acting like a G.I. Joe in the
army can get you a Medal, while playing with one can get you thrown out?
