Some people might remember "Mr +Mrs Average" who are more concerned with
sacking people and what to have for tea than trivial things than the speed
limit. I missed it earlier, but today she hits back:
Note to letters editor, "sighted", hollier" and "your honest" seem to have
eluded your otherwise excellent journalistic craftsmanship ;-)
Check my bible? - oops I haven't got one!

With reference to my critics, I feel I must make two points.
Firstly, I hope they don't listen to the car radio or CD player while
driving, indulge in any conversation whatsoever with passengers or have ever
had to listen to a three-year-old child desperately needing the toilet when
stuck in traffic in the middle of town. Get real, for goodness sake!
Secondly, hand on heart, how many people when driving in a 30 or 40 mph zone
have checked the speedo to find that their speed has actually crept up by
three, four or even five miles an hour. If your honest it's happened to all
of us.
Speed cameras are sighted in the best areas to catch the most people. I'm
sorry to say it's not about safety, it's about money.
To all those hollier-than-thou people, check your Bible. I'm sure it says
something about "Let he who has not sinned..." I rest my case.
