Amen to that. I had thought that this thread would be way too tempting for

We are in a war right now, although the crazy liberal Dems have yet to
grasp the fact. Even Kerry knows that we can't cut and run, but the extreme
liberal wacko nut Dems are always prepared to do just that. They have ever

nostalgic about. I hope the Michael Moore types all vote for Nader, thus
ensuring that Bush will be around for four more years to prosecute the war.

All this blather about WWII is misplaced. We need to get up to speed on the
present war, one which is pregnant with death and destruction coming to a
neighborhood near you. In fact, it may even be your neighborhood that will
be blown to kingdom come. Let us hope if and when it happens that it will be
nothing but liberal precincts that will be blown to hell - you know, the
kind that would vote for Kerry and/or Nader in overwhelming numbers. Those
who won't defend the nation do not deserve to be part of the nation.

It doesn't do any good to delete my post as everyone can plainly read the
preceding post if they are interested. Never assume however that everyone
is reading any of what we are posting . Therefore, there are now some on

But you need to think about the present war instead of WWII, which has by

militarily no matter what it costs. The lessons of history teach that there

on occupying any conquered territories, but instead are bent only on
exporting nothing but freedom and democracy. This is as close to the Kingdom
of God as this old world will ever get. The US is the only true crusader
nation left in the world today. We know that the best possible defense of
the nation is for all other nations to be freedom loving democracies like we
are. We no longer want to make the world safe for democracy ( a failed
policy for sure ever since President Wilson), but to make democracies -
period! If I were a believing Christian, I would have to say that the US is
nothing but an instrument in the hands of God Himself.

sane conservative types to public office every now and then. It will be
interesting to see if Minnesota will stand with Massachusetts this next time

state when it come to politics.

I am flattered that you types do not want me around. That means I am doing
something right and am truly needed here to prevent the newsgroup from going
off in the wrong direction and reverting to the pig sty it was until I

The US military is full of generals who do not want to fight. Powell is the
best example I can think of. He had to be dragged kicking and screaming into
the First Gulf War. That is why it is so damn nice to have a President at
long last who is not afraid to use the military for good and just purposes.
Russell probably believes that only those who have served in the military in
time of war have any right to be President. Scoundrels like Kerry for

he would raise everyone's taxes to pay for welfare for no good for nothings
who infest our society and drag us all down to the level of a third world

There are foot soldiers like Russell, and then there are strategic thinkers
like me. I leave it to the readership as to which types are the more
important for securing the safety and security of the nation.

What Russell does not appreciate is that in this era of the proliferation of
nuclear weapons that it will be too late to wait until we come under direct
attack. The whole purpose of preemptive war is to avoid those last
extremities. Pearl Harbor has now become a horrible example of how and why
America goes to war. It belongs to another century and does not have all
that much relevance to the kind of world we are living in today.

If peace is a valid conversation topic at any time, so is war. The young
people coming up today have their heads screwed on straighter on these
issues than do the older generations who apparently learned all the wrong
lessons from any wars they were ever involved in.

nose trying to saw off your head and violate any females you may have in
your household. The spoils of war you know!

In all my time in the service, I never met any one in the military who knew
how to think about matters of war and peace. They are good at fighting the
wars, but not about whether we should go to war or not. That we must leave
to our elected representatives who have the necessary brain power to make
those kind of judgments.

I have never "pretended" to speak for the military, but rather to speak for
the nation of which I am a part (unlike the treasonous liberals who will not
defend this country from its enemies). Russell takes the small view (like
all liberals) and does not think anything in this country is worth fighting
for except the last extremity of self defense. Only a Pearl Harbor type of
attack is enough justification for him to want to defend this country
(Russell, like all liberals, can't seem to remember the event of 9/11). Let
us be grateful that we have far larger brains in charge of this country and

sack.

Russell is most awfully wrong. But that is because he is just plain
wrongheaded like all liberals. He is rendered deaf and blind and dumb by his

eyes be opened. Of course, by then it will be too late. But that is always

Russell is not worthy to even kiss the feet of George W. Bush, President of
the United States of America ( the greatest nation that has ever existed in
the history of the world)!

Liberals should all be living in the country known as France where they can
be venal and treasonous to the values of Western Civilization to their
heart's content. There, they can also betray the values of Chrsitendom like
the devils that they are. Swine should reside in a pig sty (like France) and
not in the land of the free and the home of the brave. We may have to have

That is funny Zippy! I thought for sure I had a cancer of the bowel or at
the very least an ulcer. The local doc told me that I did not have anything
serious, and so I blew up at him and went to the Mayo Clinic over at
Rochester. How the hell could something that was causing me so much distress
be nothing? At the Mayo Clinic I had every test known to mankind and they
also told me it was nothing. Just irritable bowel syndrome! The doc back in
my hometown wanted me to see a psychiatrist. I knew there was nothing wrong
with my head (after all, I am a conservative!) and so I found myself another
doc. Eventually the whole thing blew over by itself without any treatment,
but I had a very bad 2 years.

As a result of that experience I learned to value good health above all else
in life. That has served me well until now when I am finding that the
inevitable effects of aging are going to do me in as surely as any deadly
disease that ever existed. I think the secret to life is to postpone the
inevitable for as long as possible. One thing is for sure. When we are dead,
we are dead for all eternity.

This subject thread is quickly going into the gutter and down the drain, but
is has nothing to do with Godwin's Law. It has to do with all this nonsense
about me being a troll. If someone can write that peace is good, then I can
write that war is good. But apparently I can't write that without being
accused of being a troll. Maybe I should start calling everyone a troll with
whom I disagree. Then we could have an infinite number of posts dealing with
the subject of who is and who isn't a troll.
