  1. I read your posts, and I think it is comical at best. And I will tell you
    why:

    1) you say you have a PHD, but you have yet to say in what.
What is it in, when did you receive it, and from where?

    2) you say that you are trying to create a people free park.
What are you doing to actually get it done?

    3) you are what we "northerners" call "tree huggers". These
people object to logging, mining, trapping, hunting,
fishing, and even camping. You seam to agree with these
people, so here are a few questions for you to answer:
    (A) Do you object to logging? what do you wipe your but
off with? toilet paper is made from trees. (B) Do you
object to mining? where does the steel and other metals
come from that you use? (C) Do you object to drilling for
oil? where does the plastics that you use come from? (D)
Do you wear deoderant, or any colonge? well, surprise,
those smells start off from animals.

You can say that you object to these things, but your life
revolves around those things. Recycleing is good, but
unfortunatly, it is not fool proof, we still need raw
materials. What i am against is waste. When i get something
that is in soooo much packaging, it annoys me.

Maybe you should go out and enjoy nature.... it seams
    that you dont.

    Micheal

(i doubt that you will respond honestly to this, you will
only quote things, not give you true answers)

  2. Do a Google for "trolls and usenet" 🙂

    Here's a clue -- he doesn't care! If it's comical, laugh and
    get over it.

Check his website pinhead, it's all there.

He's not doing anything but trolling on usenet. Congrats,
you just got caught. Now spit the hook out and vow to never
    reply to him again.

Attempting to point out hypocrisy to MV is like trying to
explain physics to a cat. It just ain't worth the effort

Just killfile him and be done with it. Go ride your bike and
    prove him wrong.

Um, not that I admire the guy but at least do a touch of
homework before you start blasting him. Now you'll just go
and get labeled as "another lying Mountain Biker"

from his own personal website that is referenced in every
useless post he puts on this newsgroup
    home.pacbell.netmjv1.htm

I have a B.A. Magna cum Laude from the University of
California at Berkeley in Mathematics, With Special
Distinction in Mathematics. As a Junior at U.C. Berkeley,
I ranked 37 1/2th out of 1300 college math students in the
nation in the annual mathematics contest sponsored by the
Mathematical Association of America. I have an M.A. in
Mathematics (including study in Statistics) from Harvard
University. And my Ph.D. from the University of California
at Los Angeles is in Psychology, concentrating in
Psychometrics. Psychometrics is the science of the
measurement of human behavior and traits, and forms the
scientific basis upon which transportation modeling and
all other forms of human measurement rest. I taught
measurement theory -- specifically, Reliability and
Validity -- at California State University, San Francisco.
I have been a computer programmer since 1962. I taught
    computer science for
U.C. Berkeley Extension. In other words, I am an expert in
    mathematics, statistics, scientific method, measurement
science (including modeling), and computer science.

Now of course, his PhD is in nothing related to trail
damage so he's read some books but could hardly be called
an expert in the field at least as far as education goes.
He also totally ignores the scientific method in any of his
posts and fails to provide useful statistics or even
    credible sources.

In some countries they use water. I am sure you use the same
as me. You hypocrites are all alike.

    (B) Do you object to mining? where does the steel and
.other metals come from that you use?

I don't use much, so most of that mining is unnecessary. I
am quite sure I use less than you. Your hypocrisy is asking
others to do things that you aren't willing to do.

    (C) Do you object to drilling for oil? .where does the
plastics that you use come from?

    Ditto.

    (D) Do you wear deoderant, .or any colonge? well, surprise,
those smells start off from animals.

    Not what I use.

.You can say that you object to these things, but your life

BS. You have no idea how I live.

I do. You aren't very perceptive. Defensive, but not
perceptive. And not very honest, since you are doing exactly
    what you are complaining about.

I am working on creating wildlife habitat that is off-limits
to humans ("pure habitat"😉. Want to help? (I spent the
previous 8 years fighting auto dependence and road
