I've got a bit of a challenge. My 6 year old wants to know
where food comes from (other than the fridge or the can), so
I figure I can show her by cooking some beans - the old
fashioned way. I want to make it fun, but also somewhat
educational. We've been to the mountains, and seen early
setttler houses and kitchens. She's curious about how the
settlers lived and cooked.
So.... Anyone have any child-level recipes for cooking
beans? Something fun, but that makes an edible end product?
Maybe a web-based recipe that has lots of pics so she can
follow along?
