Well, let's think.
The TOTAL McDonalds menu has (ignoring regional variations)
has right about 15,000 calories in TOTAL.
So, if his "rule" was to eat everything on that menu in the
month he would have consumed 15,000 calories in TOTAL or
about 500 calories per day.
I'm guessing he should have lost weight on that diet,
not gained.
It sounds like his self-control failed him and he max'd out
on the worst stuff after beyond fufilling his "rule".
If he had simply eaten everything twice he would only be up
to about 1,000 calories per day. Not exactly a pig out.
Cholesterol? A total of about 3000 mgs. 100 per day? Not too
shabby. Double that and 200 mg per day isn't too bad either.
How about Fat? about about 700 gms in TOTAL. 23 g per day?
46 g per day? This is looking like the worst thing here.
But wait, what about Sodium? At about 23,000 milligrams in
TOTAL. That is about 766 per day and even if he doubled
everything it is only about 1,600 mg per day. Not too bad.
Once again, a lapse of personal responsibility and
accountability is pushed off to "them".
He made choices to provide a story.

Obviously hired by McDonalds.

If so, is that any worse than the guy who did the
hatchet job on McD's in the first place? He obviously
had some kind of ulterior motive, we just don't know
exactly what it was.

What hatchet job is that? He ate there, and filmed the
results. Hardly a hatchet job. His "ulterior motive" as
you say would be to make a
documentary

Hardly.
