When you get to be 10 try Scotland. They've got even
bigger hills.

Hello Ben, and welcome to uk.rec.walking. I'm glad you
like walking in Wales; I do as well. Just as well really,
since that's where I live! Which part of Wales do you
like best Ben?

And when you get to be 11 try the French-Spanish borders.
The hills there are huge.

Hi Ben
The great thing about hills is that they do not go away. You
can go back to them time after time.
Have fun.

And when you get to my age they're not only big - they're
enormous and getting bigger :-)
Enjoy,

I think my son got hold of the computer whilst I
wasn't looking!
He's away for a few days with the school, but I can answer
your question - the Brecon Beacons. The last few years, we
have gone to stay on the Pencelli campsite for his birthday
(August). Unfortunately this year he will be out of the
country on his birthday, so we will have to go another time.
When he's a bit older, I'll take him and his brother up to
Snowdonia.
Have fun, Paul

worry too much!

That makes me sound terribly old.
Today our Czech au-pair told me she is very concerned about
the age of one of the Czech ice hockey players. It seems he
is ancient. He is thirty.
I'm going to go and have a lie down. When you get to my age
that's all you can do...
Regards, Paul

Quite. Catharine (14) has discovered gaia.com, which is
*DIRE*. Enter if you dare - I certainly don't!

Ha ha! It always amazes me how quickly people get forgotten
around here. There have been a couple of occasions when long-
term posters have been mistaken for newbies by some not not-quite-so-
longterm posters. Mark my words: the day will come when
someone will say, 'Who's Paul Saunders?'!

But not with the au pair. You'll strain yourself.
