What a horrible web site, both from a technical pov (it's
[censored]) and even more so from a content pov. It's
sensationalist in the extreme, and most of the one liners
that are scrolled across the screen are not shown to be
related, but are presented in order to enable you to draw a
conclusion that helmets work. I'm not saying that they don't
has I've already hoised my colours up the mast, and have
been flamed for it. On reflection of the facts as presented
here, I have had to eat my humble pie 🙁 But a site like
that gives P4u1 $m17h's campaign some credence.

Not for nothing are they known as BeHIT. Angie Lee is on
record as saying her work will be done when every cyclist
wears a helmet. That is a frighteningly limited ambition. I
think I am representative of opinion here in that I aspire
to a Britain where cycling is safe and accessible for as
many people as possible; I don't give a toss what they wear.

The PSF does, obv., but only in the trouser department ;-)

thanks for that. I had contacted Nationwide, as my mortgage
provider, and I am pleased that they have reconsidered their
position. It will certainly help in my decision about my
mortgage this time next year.

I will be doing that. I'd awarded myself a Round Tuit about
writing to them with "please don't do that if you want to
keep my business of the last 37.5 years", I *will* write and
say thanks for saving me the bother of writing to them...
