I've never used this but just bought a jar. I know it's added to hummus, but would anyone have other recipes to share. I'm thinking perhaps chinese or indian - but not too sure. Thanks so much, I really enjoy this group and learning new stuff!

You can make you own tahini as well, if you have a food processor. I do it by combining sesame seeds and peanut oil along with a little garlic. No particular recipe, it just has to be ground until it is smooth. I like it a bit smoother than canned. You can go to a bagel shop or bread bakery and buy a volume of seeds prolly for less than you'd pay at a supermarket. Tastes way better hom-made.
