  2. It takes twice the man (or woman....) to ride half the bike.

-DISCLAIMER: The above is my humble opinion. So just because I disagree
strongly with you, and you're completely wrong, don't hate me. Thank
    you.-

  3. Most quotes I have heard are the comments people hurl at me
when I ride by them. Not all the witty or bright, just
repeating comments. Such as, "What happened to the other
half of your bike?" or "Where did you learn to do that?" I
have my standard replies, "Don't need the other half" and
    "Here in Toronto".

I think more fun that the quotes are the double takes people
do when you come rolling down the street. You know the kind
of stares that keep you from looking - when you should be
looking. I have caused traffic accidents because people have
been watching me ride instead of watching traffic and the
    traffic lights.

Am I mean to start laughing the moment they stop watching
    me? Ka-thunk!

The beauty of riding a unicycle is that the rider becomes
one with the wheel. It is a delicate ballet that is like
skating and flying and you are always on the edge of failure
as you ride the line of success. Whether tis nobler in the
minds of men to mount their unicycles standing or running,
to take arms against a sea of asphalt and gravity, and by
opposing, end them. That is the question.

But the more important question is are unicycles also
considered "wheelchairs" or are they "wheelseats".

I am the gas, the steering and the brakes because I am a

James, are you saying Unicyclists are mostly fat people?

    'Lauren' (unicyclist.comaaj), do
you want quotes about Unicyclists by Unicyclists, or quotes
by non-Unicyclists about Unicyclists, or both? I like the
    quote on the Unicycle.co.nz 'T-shirt'
    (unicycle.co.nzTShirtNZ.jpg) that I
got, which says- "No Gears, No Brakes, No Handle-bars... No
Problem". That's a cool quote on your 'T-shirt'
(tinyurl.com2pq47) too, "MUni Militia, One wheel
    death squad".

  6. LoL, well copied off the T-shirts for sale on uni.com, James

"That's insane! I do a lot of stupid stuff, and all. I blow
stuff up when it's 20 feet away, I drag myself across a

  7. I like the quote that's currently my sig. In case I change
it, it reads: "there ain't enough body armor in the country
for me to try that" I saw it on a mountain bike forum. It
was said by a mountain biker about MUni.

  8. I like this one from The Simpsons, makes me want to try out my son's
    guitar:

"If something is to hard to do, then its not worth doing.
You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your
shortwave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and
well go inside and watch TV. --"Homer Simpson

Some was using it as their sig line for awhile.

  10. Hey,

Lauren is my girlfriend, and "lozza" is not Lauren... just
    to clear things up...

    Anyway, a good quote is:

"It's not an act, it's a sport" Kris said that one, and I
think it's sweet. I'm going to put it on a shirt.

  11. My response to "where's the other wheel" and all its
variations is an incredulous "You mean ride two wheels at
the same time? Man, I'm not that good!"

To the people who watched me learn and say to me, "Man,
you've really improved," I respond, "Yeah, improving was my
    secret plan all along."
