  1. And to start things off:

Rafl Wk12 - managed to GAIN 4 pounds to 219, which is 2
pounds more than I started the challenge. I attribute this
to ALL the workout facilities at the hotel being closed for
construction (pool and fitness room) and the food being too
good. Plus it's TOM, so that might factor into it too. I'm
not overly concerned about it, and frankly I just don't have
the energy today to beat myself up over it. SIA - 4 times,
despite not being able to work out Monday-Wednesday.

And look for the announcement of the new weight loss
    challenge!

  3. Funny you should mention that, I was thinking the same
thing! I feel like writing to them and complaining of cruel
and unusual punishment resulting in unexpected weight gain.
Oh well, they are giving me a break on my rooms for the
    summer though.

And I now have to REALLY buckle down and make sure I
diligently journal and exercise - we've booked part I of the
honeymoon (July 2005). Chapel still isn't booked and won't
be until Christmas, but the cruise is booked! And I'll be
darned if I'm a) walking down the aisle and b) sitting on a
tropical beach without a total knockout. And since the dress
is a size 10 and I'm, well, not - I have a bit of work to
do. Not like there's any pressure or anything 😉

Biggest honeymoon challenge - not gaining weight on the
cruise and WDW visit after! I already have which
restaurants I want to eat at picked out! Actually the very
cool thing is that you can find menus for almost all the
WDW restaurants and the cruise online, so you really could
pretty much plan out your meals in advance to make sure it
    doesn't go too far astray.

  8. You know Lee, I think you hit the nail on the head. Is IS
too much effort to beat myself up over a small gain. And
compared to having lost 30 pounds, 4 IS a small gain. And I
have so many better things to do with that energy than to
spend it being angry with myself!

points for. One night I was up late after a workout and decided to watch
a bit of TV and I decided to have a few chips... I opened a new bag and
ended up finishing it ... 20 points. YEEHAW. Note to self: Never open a
    new bag of chips unattended.

    RafL: Lost 3.5
    SIA: 4 times

  14. Thanks Lee!! No more "just one more" moments for me.

    And to start things off:

Rafl Wk12 - managed to GAIN 4 pounds to 219, which is 2
pounds more than I started the challenge. I attribute
this to ALL the workout facilities at the hotel being
closed for construction (pool and fitness room) and the
food being too good. Plus it's TOM, so that might factor
into it too. I'm not overly concerned about it, and
frankly I just don't have the energy today to beat myself
up over it. SIA - 4 times, despite not being able to work
    out Monday-Wednesday.

And look for the announcement of the new weight loss
    challenge!

  16. I'm the same way. I have to measure out a bowl full or I
will finish the bag. Lately, I have found it safer to have a
    mini-bag of popcorn instead.

  19. Congrats on the fantastic loss and week! You have just
stated the exact reason why I no longer buy multiple serving
size bags of chips. If I get hold of them, forget it. I
solved the problem by purchasing those lunch bag size packs.
On the rare occassion that I want some chips, there isn't
too much damage I can do. Forced portion control. LOL
