I was waiting in a large reception area for my SIL so we could have lunch. The receptionist and a co-worker were talking about lunch, I piped up about salads at fast food places, the receptionist said to me, so what do you know about salads, I told her how I often ate out and being on WW I have had to find quick but low point options. She said "YOU!!" I said yes, she said... " you, do NOT look like you have a weight problem to me!!!" I almost passed out but said, not now, but I did before I lost 85 pounds, now I know I have 30 more to go and so its not a problem, whereupon she said a word I shouldn't repeat in a family news group, made me feel good as I still really do have at least 30 more pounds to lose to get to the top of the WW charts, Lee

I was waiting in a large reception area for my SIL so we
could have lunch. The receptionist and a co-worker were
talking about lunch, I piped up about salads at fast food
places, the receptionist said to me, so what do you know
about salads, I told her how I often ate out and being on WW
I have had to find quick but low point options. She said
"YOU!!" I said yes, she said... " you, do NOT look like you
have a weight problem to me!!!" I almost passed out but
said, not now, but I did before I lost 85 pounds, now I know
I have 30 more to go and so its not a problem, whereupon she
said a word I shouldn't repeat in a family news group, made
me feel good as I still really do have at least 30 more
pounds to lose to get to the top of the WW charts, Lee

Just goes to show you that your perception of your size is
not always the perception that the world sees. Wonderful!
I've had several people call me "skinny". I'm not anywhere
near skinny, but it does make me feel good when I realize
that people aren't seeing me as fat anymore.
Congrats ... feel good about it!

Yeah. The first time it happened to me (someone said I'm as
thin as a pencil), it was so funny I forgot to laugh.
Really. I was stunned into silence. My mother told me this
weekend that I'm "wasting away." Now THAT was funny! Good
thing it's still winter and my sweaters cover up the roll
around my middle.
