Hang in there Donna, we've all had weeks like that. That's
what's so lovely about ww ... you know what to do to get
back in control, and can apply all those things as soon as
you're able. Now get to drinkin' that water!

You weighed in and faced facts, which is the hardest
consequence of not being "good." But now that you know, you
also know what to do.

Yep, I know what to do. But, it's going to get worse in a
litle over a week! We're heading towards
Portland/Seattle/Oregon coast for 10 days. I know we'll be
eating all kinds of neat places, so I'll just have to do
the best I can and get back with the program when I get
back home.

Fred, not much chance of that! My husband has lived on this
farm almost his entire life and he has no intentions of not
living on this farm!
We're visiting relatives in Battle Ground (side trips to
Portland), friends in Graham (with a quick trip up to Pikes
Place Mkt), and relatives at Manzanita & then we'll head
back to the farm - 'cause it's farming season!
Wow is it farming season! I helped my husband burn ditches
this morning. We both came back in smelling so bad we had to
wash all our clothes and shower to get rid of the stink!

Ah, then you can VISIT! (G)
Enjoy the market - most people do.
Hope you did not compromise your lungs too badly. A few
years back I tried burning weeds with a torch - too much
acrid smoke - it was suggested as being "herbicide" friendly
but not lung friendly.

We've been to Pikes Place a few times, but our
granddaughter, who is going with us, hasn't. She's pretty
excited about it. We're even going to take a couple short
ferry rides just so she can go on the ferry. Don't really
need to take the ferry from Graham to Seattle, but it
will be fun.

Enjoy your visit. The ferries are a pleasure except on
holiday weekends when the lines are long after a long
backpack weekend (G)
The market is terrific. Unfortunately, there are ALL thos
food stalls with so many tempting, well, TEMPTATIONS. I
always get the skewer of bbq pork and maybe a humbow. There
are the rugalah. The pirosky. Then the fresh fruits and
veggies and all of that fish and crabs and geoduck and
..........
The last time I was there was with my dad when he visited in
August just before he passed away. He loved that place.

Yup, I think we might have one laying around the basement
somewhere ... gag gift hub received when he turned 50. It
could work!
