  1. Hi everyone. After a long long work related break.. here I
am again, for better or for worse. Whichever is your
    preference.

I have been in many exotic locals. And met many
good/bad/ugly people. But none as eclectic as here.

Let me offer you a nice place on the net to visit for
recipes. Different. Try it. Freshly discovered it and in no
    way affiliated. Enjoy.

    Helps if you have DSL.

Thanks for the URL. That radish puff looks terrific. I'd
post the recipe with credits but could not C&P it.

Thanks for the URL. That radish puff looks terrific. I'd

On the flash page of the recipe there's the words "For
    Directions". It's a hot-link that leads you here: <lunch-at-lunch-at-
    noon.com/popup/a_radish.html>

    1/2 lb shrimp 3-4 radishes
    2/2 cup broccoli
3/2 each of yellow and red bell pepper 4 purple potatoes
    4/2 cup snow peas
5/3 cup baby carrots 2 1/2 cups chicken stock Pie sheets:
you can find it at the frozen section. 1 egg yolk

    sauce 2 shallots, minced
6/4 cup white wine 2 tsp curry powder 2 Tbs butter
    7/3 cup heavy cream Salt

Boil shrimp, vegetables and radishes separately in chicken
    broth until soft.

To make the sauce, in a saucepan over medium heat, melt the
butter and stir the minced shallots until golden. Pour in
the wine and the heavy cream. Stir occasionally. adding
    curry powder and and salt.

Position a rack in the center of an oven and preheat to
350F. Take out the puff/pie sheet from the box and place
them on a baking sheet. Brush egg yolk over the puff and
bake as instructed. Remove oven and cut out the top of the
puff. Place the cooked vegetables and shrimp on top. Pour
the sauce over and serve immediately.

Heh,.. actually it prolly does not matter what you use 🙂 .
It's a recent find and I liked it a lot. More the
    presentation than the recipes.

I sure would like a recipe software on my PC I can add
stuff to that looked like that. I dislike almost all that
is out there. I even spent money on MasterCook. It sucks.
Installed it, used it a while and learned to hate it.

And yep it's been a while. Making money took up a lot of
time. Now I kick it back. More to life. Like Cooking!

Good to be back. Thanks for the welcome.
