I get the feeling he was tired of the serious political debaters on the political newsgroups and decided to set up house here where he thought he left-leaning political assertions would be more readily accepted and the resident political debating skills would be less finely honed.
I bet if I were a right winger, you'd be cheering me on. Don't be a [censored]. Either killfile me or leave me alone.
No, I'd tell you to STFU because your abrasive style only turns people against any arguement you provide. :-)
You're side isn't abrasive? Excuse me, but you're only freakin' bombing half the world and planning to bomb the other half!

Maybe we should look at his posts and google and see what the ratio is between on--topic and off-topic posts.
You do that.
Go right ahead.
good lord. i hope he doesn't. any controls he may chose to do will undoubtedly reveal that there's nothing out of the ordinary about your posting patterns.
pot, kettle, black for most of us.
i've always seen the large amount of off-topic posts as a good sign. there is some amount of a sense of community. and, if ya don't like it it's not like it's hard to avoid. -- david reuteler [email hidden]

Well, I x-no-archive, so that's why I was telling him to go ahead.

You don't all the time, but your doing so selectively in r.b.m only pushes you towards troll status.
As far as I am aware, I have Agent set up so that every post I make is x-no-archived. If they aren't, please tell me, because then the software has a bug I'd like to report.

Seriousy, has anyone ever seen a picture of him with a bike or even verfied his identity?
I think this is a web page devoted to his fixed gear bike: home.sport.rr.comfixieOpen ↗ These photos display a certain affection for the beauty of Bianchi metal that seems unlikely to occur in someone who's just faking interest in bicycling to troll newsgroups.
See, if he were a real man of the people he'd have a beater Schwinn fixed gear:
Two fixed gear fans. This suggests you and Kevan might find common ground if you discussed the right topics. . . . . . . Or, maybe it's the left topics for Kevan. 😉

Funny enough, I ride pretty regularly with two USAF people. One loads bombs onto B52s, the other flies them to Iraq to drop them. We just don't discuss their unfortunate choice of careers.
