I can browse under "all files", but I think it'll assume the file is text. .xml or markup aren't in
the help sections either. Access (where my log book is) didn't have it either. But both WordPerfect
(where I thought I had seen it) and Quattro seem to recognize it. I don't have a unit or xml file,
but have been looking at the forerunner and evaluating what it can/cannot do. Thanks.Dot
OpenOffice (www.openoffice.org) uses .xml as its native file format, so you can open the file in the
word lookallike or the excel lookalike and the data will look the same and not need adjusted. Then
you can save it back out in doc or xlc format, if you really want to, but if you have openoffice why
would you want to screw with MS Office?
