  1. i was wondering if anyone here is counting their calories as well as their points. i was thinking of
doing it. i have done it before on there own so it wouldn't be a problem. i just wanted to make sure
    that i was eating enough.

    thanks again angie

  2. Anglea,

When you're counting points you ARE counting calories. And fat, and fiber. It's basically an
expanded (but easier, and healthier) version of calorie counting.

    Angela,

I count calories using www.fitday.com, but try to do the WW thing of eating lots of fibre and fruit
and veg, and drink lots of water etc. I find it easier that way than thinking about points.

There are loads of sites to calculate your BMR for your height/weight/age etc. (e.g.
exrx.netCalRequire.html) Then try for about 500 calories below that and see
what happens. If you want to lose weight faster then you should do exercise not cut more calories.
As you suggest cutting too many calories means you may slow the rate of loss.

I aim for about 2000 a day plus exercise to lose 1-1.5 pounds a week. It seems to work quite well.
I'm not sure how many points that is but it's quite a bit more than WW allows. I think WW assumes
    people cheat🙂

  5. I do both, its extra work but I log my intake with Dietpower, not only calories but I can see fats,
vitamins etc. Its very interesting and helps me decide when to take a calcium tablet. Michelle Ozzie
