  1. A high temperature of 1 degree today plus a cold wind. Cold enough to require a third glove for a
    convex body part.

  2. Uhh Rick, cooters are concave, not convex. Stop with the smokescreen already.

This might be true...assuming you had one.

  6. Minus 18 or so windchill here this morning. I only did 4 miles. Daggone antibiotic is causing some
    tendon pain.

  7. It's -27 degrees Cel here, or -38 degrees with wind-chill.

    I ran a 5 min 1KM outside with shirt+short.

It's a fun run. "Leo" <[email hidden]> wrote in message

I hope you're not taking cipro. If you are, it's a great way to [censored] up your tendons.

  9. I learned about the potential for damage AFTER doing the run. I was taking Levaquin. My doc, kowing
I run, failed to mention the side effect of achilles ruptures.

I know, I should have educated myself. Live and learn.

I did not rupture anything, but two tendons sure did hurt like hell. Glad to cipro will do the same
    thing. Thanks, L

Similar has happened to even the best of runners. I know of a running coach who is very
experienced/knowlegable who had a similar experience, so you're in good company if nothing else.

    good luck with the recovery

    Cheers,
