  1. Hi quick question, anyone know if a fork with 1 1/8 " Fit on my old 2000 USPS 5200 trek that's supposed to currently have a 1"" steerer. I know I should be asking the LBS but due to the age of this bike I have to purchase some things from eBay and try to do some of the easy work on my own. Thanks

  2. Straight off - no.
    It MAY be possible, if you replace the headset.

  3. It's been done on some 1" BMX and mountain bike frames my mixing and matching various headset and crown race parts with an 1-1/8" fork. That said, I don't think I would try it.
