Well this seems quite a lot for brake pads, so I was wondering whether anybody had any suggestions for either 1) Campag Mirage compatible 3rd party brake pads 2) Some compatible brake pad blocks with replaceable insert

BBB also makes a complete holder and shoe that will work on those calipers. then you can use a shimano slide in insert. (Can't find a pic). Those are about $30 for a set of 4.

Any help would be so greatly appreciated
You can substitute almost any brake pads made for ROAD calipers for your worn pads ...
In the end I ordered the Mirage pads since I got a relatively cheap deal on them, but I have ridden about 400 miles with them and the rear brake pads have already worn down.
I have read great things about Kool Stop brake pads, and I would like to put a pair of these on my rear brake callipers...do you think that these ones below would be appropriate?
