  1. Hello,

I have a set of Mirage Brake Callipers, the brake pads looks like this:
Campagnolo BR-VL600 Road Bike Full Brake Pads on eBay (end time 27-Dec-09 16:04:30 GMT)

Well this seems quite a lot for brake pads, so I was wondering whether anybody had any suggestions for either
    1) Campag Mirage compatible 3rd party brake pads
    2) Some compatible brake pad blocks with replaceable insert

Any help would be so greatly appreciated

    Tom

    These-

BBB RoadStop Brake Shoes - Brake Pads - Brakes - RoadCyclingUK

BBB also makes a complete holder and shoe that will work on those calipers. then you can use a shimano slide in insert. (Can't find a pic). Those are about $30 for a set of 4.

    We have both at Vecchio's.com.

You can substitute almost any brake pads made for ROAD calipers for your worn pads ...

  4. I'm using Baradine, or you can try Koolstop

    baradine.com.tw

    koolstop.com

I think the slots for the pads are narrower
on campagnolo calipers but you can use a file
    if you like.

  5. Thank you so much everyone...help greatly appreciated

  6. Hello again....

In the end I ordered the Mirage pads since I got a relatively cheap deal on them, but I have ridden about 400 miles with them and the rear brake pads have already worn down.

I have read great things about Kool Stop brake pads, and I would like to put a pair of these on my rear brake callipers...do you think that these ones below would be appropriate?

KOOL STOP CAMPY- BRAKE HOLDERS & PADS. 2 PADS INCLUDED. on eBay (end time 04-Feb-10 14:30:29 GMT)

    Thanks,
    Tom
