I guess it is just frustration and jealosy that others are going scot-free. Ideally, everyone involved in OP should get equal treatment. Now, obviously, he cannot ask to have his ban rescinded (which would put him on par with the other guilty riders who were never punished); hence this language. It is of course flawed, but understandable if you put yourself in his shoes.

You know, I like Simoni more and more. I think he may have had his day with injections, but I believe he stopped several years back and decided to race clean. I also think that explains his move to mountain biking.

It will only reduce the effect of the current fight against doping, that will reduce the confidence of everyone for a new era of cycling.
Don't forget the most "wounded" by doping are the few clean riders, the people who have lost their jobs or reduce their salaries...

We can only see an italian reason in that amnesty...

No I am reacting to an ad hominem forum response from someone too sensitive to take what they dish out.

As to them all doping. Yes, I am well aware. I am also aware of the diminishing performance of Simoni over the past few years, and his inability to recapture a Giro title.(after his 2nd in '03) He may be doping, bit it appears that he got off of the full juice based on his performance decline. That was my real point. Hey, you are entitled to your own opinion about that, but when you ask a sarcastic question meant to cast me in a certain light and I respond with an escalated response (a trick I learned from growing up during the Cold War), you really have no beef. You started it, and I continued it. Why should I be the one to show decorum first?

You started cursing me... That's rude manner, not some "I'm tough guy" attitude, like you're trying to present it. And if my sarcastic comment was reason for that... You have a serious self respect problem.
And about Simoni... Maybe his performance decline is related with his age rather than his "less doping program"
