Horny stated HE WAS WILLING to release the contract IF ONLY BALL WOULD
GIVE HIM PERMISSION. Since Green Hornet already articulated the details
of what these preliminary contractual terms were and why he rejected them,
these disclosed facts exclude ANY possibility of the ludicrous logic you
attributed to him.
Horner already made the details public and is simply claiming he wants to
release the contract to back up the VERACITY of his story as being the
truthful version (vs. Ball's purportedly false version).
I don't think Chris benefits from, nor wants those documents public. He's in
a strong position now, because most people are going to believe his version
of the story, and the longer Ball waits before admitting the truth, the
worse he (Ball) looks. Chris is waiting for Ball to dig as deep a hole for
himself as he can, or simply let it slide, knowing that he's got the upper
hand.
I figured by #371 you'd be lashing out with something more than a limp
noodle.

Dumbass,
He's got a one year contract. That means he gets to do
this again next year. It is probably a good thing for
him to give the impression that preliminary stages of
the negotiation won't be made public if the
negotiation fails.
Just sayin. I doubt he gives a [censored] about pissing off
Ball. Who from the Velonews interview looks like he
might be the most entertaining team director since
Horseteef.

Good point. But, I stand by my conclusion that he has more class than
Ball, regardless of why he doesn't go public with the info.

See my point...If Santiago wasn't in any danger and you ordered him not to
be touched, why did he need to be transfered off the base...Colonel? Why
the two orders?
