Hi,
I swim once or twice a week in an outdoor pool.
Recently, I have been suffering flu like symptoms after swimming. Typically, I swim 1500 m, then a
couple of hours later the symptoms appear, which last an hour or two; feverish, sore throat, etc.
It doesn't happen every time, but often enough to be noticeable.
Weird, huh? Like an allergy to chlorine. Anyone ever hear of anything like that?
Can you correlate your symptoms with the timing of the application of chemicals in the pool?
Sometimes, say they use powders, there's a lingering cloud of the stuff over the pool surface. Under
any circumstance, it sounds as if you're inhaling something that doesn't agree with you.
