Hi Guys and Gals,
My fiance is having trouble learning to ride. We've tried everything.
Tennis court fence, deck railing, holding on to people, etc. The
problem that she has is that she just can't seem to let herself fall
forward. She can mount quickly and easily using my car's bike rack and
she can sit there statically with almost no contact with the rack.
However, she just can't seem to convince herself to "fall forward" and
pedal. Any of the aforementioned methods just strengthen her bad
habits of leaning back, away from the fall.
We're pretty much out of ideas, but she is still eager to learn. Does
anybody have any advice/ideas?
If she could just allow herself to fall forward, I'm sure that she
could be riding 20+ feet in a couple of hours. She catches onto things
pretty fast.
Thanks for your help in advance.
