OK, how about this: Iran has entered into oil production agreements with
Russia and China. The US is not on the list. Also, Iran is trading oil in
Euros, not dollars. That is not something we can allow to go on. It's
called "petro dollar recycling" and it is the only thing keeping us from a

You are dreaming. The US hasn't had diplomatic relations with Iran
ever since the hostage taking at the embassy. They have the same
effect on the US as Cuba does. Perhaps if Iran would actually
acquiesce to Israel's right to exist like just about every other major
Mideastern nation, then perhaps things would go a lot smoothly. But
they never will because they are haters.

Lots of countries have never signed on to Israel. Do we bomb them too?
Actually, very few have. Very few.

Let's see, diplomatic talks were resumed in the Spring of this year. They
haven't gone far seeing as how we demand they surrender before really
talking turkey. Would you go into a bargaining session with your mouth
    gagged and your hands tied?

You need to learn a lot about OPEC and what Iran's oil agreements mean to
the global supply and how it very much favors Russia and China and how that
means higher oil prices for the US and how that effects the dollar and how
that effects the economy and - well you get the picture.

It's complicated but bottom line, we're screwed. Hence the war talk.

what they say. Very amusing indeed. And I'm also very amused in
regards to your strange statement where you say, "Iran doesn't hate
Jews." Um, oh yes they do. They hate Jews and they want to destroy
them because they don't believe the same way they do. It's not a
religious thing at all. Yeah right. And it wasn't a religous thing
when [censored] said it as well. He just didn't like them taking all the
money, eh? Well, you have good company -- David Duke and Amanijahd.
I'm sure David Duke doesn't hate Jews either. After all, he and
Ahmanijahd were trying to put together a nice Bar Mitzvah over there
during that "seminar" where they claimed the holocaust never existed.
You sound very, very deluded if you don't believe the Iranians hate
the Jews. They are the biggest haters on earth today. They'd just as
soon wipe them off the face of the earth than look at them.

It most definitely is hate. Iran does not hate Jews. Iran hates Israel.
That is a fact. Is Iran in a position to do anything about it? Nope. Will
they ever be? If so, and they try, they will be annihilated and that is a
    certainty.

OK, now I want you to research Semitic religions. Tell me which two you
come up with. I want you to read the Koran and tell me what it has to say
about the Jews. I'm not giving you any answers, but boy howdy are you in
    for an eye opener.

    Paul- Hide quoted text -

When a nation hosts a seminar depicting how the Holocaust never took
place with David Duke as a guest, then that is hate. Real simple. As
for what the Koran says about the Jews, that's not the issue here, is
it? It's what the IRANIANS say about the Jews. There are lots of
Muslims in the US who get along just fine with the Jews, so I don't
know how a study of Islam is relevant here. But FYI, here are som
    interesting texts from the Koran:

[5.51] O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for
friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes
them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does
    not guide the unjust people.

[5.78] Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were
cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium; this was
because they disobeyed and used to exceed the limit.

[9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians
say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their
mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may
Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

[4.46] Of those who are Jews (there are those who) alter words from
their places and say: We have heard and we disobey and: Hear, may you
not be made to hear! and: Raina, distorting (the word) with their
tongues and taunting about religion; and if they had said (instead):
We have heard and we obey, and hearken, and unzurna it would have been
better for them and more upright; but Allah has cursed them on account
of their unbelief, so they do not believe but a little.

[4.160] Wherefore for the iniquity of those who are Jews did We
disallow to them the good things which had been made lawful for them
and for their hindering many (people) from Allah's way.

The Muslim attitude toward Jews is reflected in various verses
throughout the Koran, the holy book of the Islamic faith. "They [the
Children of Israel] were consigned to humiliation and wretchedness.
They brought the wrath of God upon themselves, and this because they
used to deny God's signs and kill His Prophets unjustly and because
they disobeyed and were transgressors" (Sura 2:61). According to the
Koran, the Jews try to introduce corruption (5:64), have always been
disobedient (5:78), and are enemies of Allah, the Prophet and the
    angels (2:9798).

    That's for starters.

If these arab countries really cared for palestinians, they would have given

Paul are you saying that Trijcomm is misquoting the Koran?

The word here is context. You can quote the Bible all day long and get it
wrong. Same with the Kuran. Neither of us are religious scholars and I for
one would love to hear from one regarding those alleged passages.
Especially I would like to hear from an Arabic speaking scholar who speaks
fluent English. The right wing has flaunted those passages whenever it
needs a boogey man. Its always the same passages, and I want to know who is
saying what to whom in those passages. For all we know it may be a fable
being recounted and not a directive to kill Jews.

    Context is the key.
