I am trying to find a recipe for fudge [censored] ( like we used to have at
school ) but have had no success so far.
I am also looking for pudding recipes useing evaporated milk.
Any recipes will be gratefully accepted

website - www.verybestbaking.com . Surprisingly, there's no separate
category for "pudding", but you can get the recipes by entering pudding
as a keyword. I guess not many people make it from scratch any more.--Charlene

At our school it was called gypsy [censored]recipe was kind of like this
1 400g (14oz) Tin of Evaporated Milk
340g (12oz) Dark Muscovado Sugar
1 10inch Pre-baked shortcrust pastry casePre-heat oven to 200°C: 400°F: Gas 6.
Whisk evaporated milk and sugar together for approximately 10 minutes
Until light and fluffy and coffee coloured.
Pour the mix into the pastry case.
Bake for 10 minutes.
The surface will appear slightly sticky but will set completely when left to
cool.
Serve cold.Serves 6

This brings back the memory of when years ago, someone posted the
question "How do you make a gypsy [censored]?"I looked up the old post and copied it here.
I can't remember if it was Kay Hartman or Nancy Dooley that answered
saying to dress her in an off the shoulder blouse with a slit skirt
and black fishnet stockings,or something like that, every time I see a
Gypsy [censored] request that post comes to mind.
Sorry, I just had to take that little trip down memory lane.This recipe states to whip the sugar and evaporated milk together for
10 minutes and that it should be light coffee flavored.

8 oz shortcrust pastry
1 1x400 g/140z can evaporated milk
250 g/120z dark muscovardo sugarHeat the oven to 200c/400f
Roll out the pastry and line a 10" flan ring, line with greaseproof
paper and bake for 15-20 mins, leave to cool.
Whisk the evaporated milk and sugar together for 10mins. until it is
light and fluffy, it should be coffee coloured.
Pour into the pastry case and bake for10mins or until set.
Leave to cool.
