  1. I am quite slim in sommer. But in winter, I freeze constantly, which
forces me to take lots of sweets. I freeze less afterwards.

Does anybody know this problem? How do you handle it?

By the way I have an in-born skin problem, ichthyose, as it is called
in medical term. Is it somehow the cause of the freezing in winter?

    Thanks!

  2. Wear more clothes when you are cold. Drink hot drinks like tea or herbal
    tea.

That's an excellent rationalizaiton for eating your sweets!

I don't know....but it is generally cold in the winter...would that have
something to do with it? Where do you live and what is the average temp?

Interestingly, I do know several women to claim, no matter how they dress,
that they are freezing when outside in wintertime. It's as if it's a mental
thing. As I've not worn their shoes, it's hard to relate.

  4. Tell them to wait till they hit menopause, that will change!

    Sweets keep you warm?

I drink coffee or tea or have a bowl of soup if I need to warm up my
    insides.

Socks, sweats, sweatshirts and sweaters warm up the outside.

The only way a candy bar warms me up is that it makes me feel so tired
and sick I go to bed -- and that's pretty much the quilt doing all the
    work there. ;-)
