  1. We made these and they are really crisp and nice. Easy to make and nice to
    look at.

    Sesame Wonton Chips

Cut wonton wrappers in half diagonally
    Arrange on cookie sheet
    Brush lightly with sesame oil
    lightly salt
Sprinkle with freshly toasted sesame seeds
Bake until dark golden brown about 375 F

We added a tempura fried oyster to the top of the chip with a dollop of key
    lime cilantro tartar sauce.

I have left over wonton wrappers and this looks like a perfect way to finish
them up. One question though, if you sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds on
the wontons, won't they burn? (I mean the sesame seeds)

I lightly toasted them..or you could just put them on not toasted and the
oven will do the job .. watch them closely. Good luck with it!

Perfect. I did pre-toast the sesame seeds. But completely forgot they were
in the oven and took the dogs for a walk. Fortunately all was well when I
got home. Loved the wontons and added some to a caesar salad I'd made.
They'd be good with asian salads too.

    Thanks.

I am surprised they were not burned to a crisp.
