Opinions will differ here. I quite like the nimbus trials uni (I've got
one), I have a KH momment hub and crankset on it though (regular square
taper hub) is not strong enough for strong abuse.
But a few brands you might want to look at would be KH, Koxx, Onza,
QU-AX, Monty and Nimbus.
When you say your saving you need to decide what sort of trials uni you
want.
1) Buy one of the more budget trials unis and upgrade in the future if
you really get into it.
2) Buy one of the better trials unis (splined HUB and cranks), cheaper
in the long run if you get into it, but If you find trials isn't your
thing you will of wasted more money.
If you tell us what country you're in someone on the forum will
probably be able to tell you who the main unicycle supplier is for your
country and then you can take a look at their website and see what they
stock.
